Kgalagadi mid season flowers January, Feb, March. Depending on rain
Namibian landscapes . Jan- End March. During start of rain season for dramatic clouds but before its green

The Kalahari area and specifically the Kalahari gemsbok park within rates as one of the very top wildlife photographers destinations in the world , not just in South Africa or Africa as a continent. There are many reasons for that and will be explored elsewhere on this page.

Namaqualand's floral explosion in season is world renown and regarded as the greatest floral spectacle in the world. There are many tour operators that tourists can accompany but there are very few specialised photo operators guided by professional photographers.

By far the most private safari businesses are located in and around the Kruger national park. Photographers can choose to do self drive excursions or through private safari businesses that have a lot of serious advantages.
