Pilansberg

Pilansberg national park

Located In the North West province - Approximately 2 hours’ drive from Johannesburg – adjacent to Sun City.

Access

Very easy to get to with a good national road infrastructure. A 4 x 4 vehicle is not required however due to the deteriorating road infrastructure within the park a vehicle with high clearance is recommended. There is an airport which would typically be used by those staying at the exclusive lodges.

Accommodation

A variety of accommodation is available – camping and chalets

We typically stay on a self-catering basis at either Bakubung or Kwa Maritane bush lodges utilizing our timeshare points. The accommodation is very comfortable. Kwa Maritane has an underground hide for the exclusive use of residents. There are many private lodges within the park – some of which are fairly expensive. These lodges do have restaurants should you wish

We also frequently visit the park as day visitors and a substantial pensioners discount is available making the entrance fee to this park really affordable

Booking

Through the resorts websites directly or through North West Parks website
