No need to book – reasonably priced for all and a pensioners discount is available

Accommodation

None available in the nature reserve that I am aware of. There is accommodation at Rietvlei Dam adjacent to the nature reserve.

Day walks with a field guide can be arranged and pre-booked. Picnic site available and also a coffee shop in the reserve

Highlights /photo opportunities

Rhino/ Cheetah/ Buffalo/ Various antelope – including Eland. Reserve is mostly open grassland so seeing game is relatively easy

Some hides are available which overlook water and reeds so birds are plentiful
